How do I get this sliver of glass out of my leg?

soak your leg in warm water, and use something like a surgical scalpel(yes, they sell those.try Walgreen's) or the special blade thing for getting out splinters and try to cut around the sliver of glass (not deep, just enough to break the skin) and use tweezers to pull it out.(gently!)

Depends on how big the piece of glass is, I wouldn't think you need to go to the ER for a small piece of glass unless the regular doctor is closed. If it's sticking out, I'd just pull it out slowly so it doens't break and clean the wound and then go to the doctor when I had the chance.

Go to the ER. You don't want to shove the piece further up in your leg or not get it all out and end up with an infection. Let the doctors handle it. Good Luck!
