I would like to see this happen. I think the Bible has served as a cruch for Christianity for a long time. Most people can't even determine what is being portraid. Others just listen to what another person's opinion is. This is because no priest of Christainity is a prophet in their own words. Just ask them. However it is described that to speak the word of God then you need to be a prophet. Since there are none then it would be a sin to do so.

There are some who cliam to be prophets but shunned by most Christians.

You would need a whole slew of prophets to continue the religion without sin.

Well maybe the pope could I think but it doesn't say anything about the pope in the bible. Besides he is just the head priest of the Catholic sect.

Absolutely! A Christian should have at least a few scriptures memorized in order to witness, but even if he doesn't, someone who is new to witnessing can still tell his own testimony of salvation. Paul himself used that very method three times in the New Testament. Even a new Christian can tell how he realized he was a sinner and then believed that the Lord Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose again. And then how he received Jesus as his Saviour. The Bible is a wonderful tool to help a Christian witness. New Testaments are small and easy to carry - so are gospel tracts. They have the plan of salvation and can be given away. But even without any printed word, a Christian should be able to just tell about Jesus. Praise the Lord!

That would be a little hard. But if you're asking if I could do it without having a Bible with me at the exact moment of telling someone about Christ, yes. I believe so.

Yes I could tell them about both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

But telling is not enough, they should not take my word for what I say but to read it from God's words.

We take our Bibles to Church so when the preacher make a statement from God word, we can look it up in the Bible to make sure it is really God's word. We should never take anyone word accept the word of God.

To your question YES I could tell others about Christ. However others need to read the Bible for themselves because someone may tell them wrong.

sure, but why? the bible is completely historically accurate and b/c of when the newtestament was written (right after the events) we know that it is accurate about JESUS. the people would have been like "what in the world are you talking about...." if it weren't true. also a good number of historians that were there within the same time period mention him and his miracles. the educated debate is no longer if he exists but who do you want to believe he was.

the known truth is that he was a highly observant jew who taught that he was the SON OF GOD prophesied his own death and allowed it to happen to take the penalty of those who repent and turn to GOD. it is also unquestionable that he did raise from the dead b/c of the amount of soilders guarding the tomb, and if HIS disciples did try to take it from them they would not have survived and that would be a well known fact.

JESUS HIMSELF used parrables alot which weren't considered scripture at that moment. Paul used philosophy alot(but you should be well versed b/f you go that route)

but i do recomend C.S. LEWIS's book MERE CHRISTIANITY if you want to look into exploring how to reveal GOD's existance w/o using the bible.

our conscience is key. 99% of people feel lying, stealing, murder, rape, cheating, adultery, are wrong and wonder if there might be more to life than eating sleeping and pooping. GOD has created us with a desire to know HIM and a conscience to alert us to HIS law even when we don't have a bible.

Rom 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

I am not sure what this " If you could not use the Bible" means in this kind of question, it is like "How could you tell about yourself without using the words", or " Could you prove evolution theory without bringing in the science?".

Christians believe that the Bible is the Word of God. Jesus confirmed the Old Testament and He promised the New Testament. The Bible is very reliable, and it is God's life manual for us.

However, I would still tell about Jesus. Once you know Jesus, you cannot stop talking about Him and sharing the good news, Gospel, that God loves us.

You could best tell people about Christ by NOT using the bible. All is true words were omitted, as Love is not conducive to Control, the true intent of the bible.

Of course. The early Christian (Catholic) Church preached the Word of God for 350 years before the Bible as we know it was dcompiled anf finalized. It also did so before a word of the New Testament was written. The Bible is helpful but it is not absolutely essential. The Bible tells us the Church Christ founded is "the pillar and foundation of truth", not a collection of its early writings compiled centuries later.

The bible is our daily bread, like we need to eat to feed the body, we need the word of God to feed the soul.. however.. I live my life For Christ.. Every morning my prayers are Thank you GoD for the gift of this day, I pray for knowledge of His will for me and the power to carry it out.. and I pray that each person that I come in contact with , either in person or on the phone, that I am a shining Example of the amazing forgiving love of Jesus Christ..

It is not about the hour you spend in church each week or how many bible verses you have memorized, it is about whether or not you are walking the walk and not just talking the talk.

I want to be like Him to everyone I meet.. I strive for that daily

We are to live such a life that we draw others toChrist because of our example. If we have grown in Christ the beauty of Christ shows. Let this be your goal and door opener for witnessing.

You can always tell others about Christ.
