Disappointed for Nori, but I'm sure he'll bounce back. He rarely has a good start to any season.
Nieto was a bit of a surprise, but then again maybe not. He's a multiple gp 250 race winner, so he's certainly got the talent. Up till now he's not had competitive machinery. Now that he has, its a chance to prove himself.
I'm a little worried about Ducati's dominance at a track that they normally can't compete on. What are they gonna be like on traditionally good circuits for them (most of the rest). This 3kg weight addition that they will have put on if they look like having an advantage wont make any difference whatsoever. Look at the weight difference between Biaggi and Xaus! What I would hate to see happen is the situation we had in the 90's, where it was more like the World Ducati Cup, rather than World Super Bikes! I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Looks like there's a good season of racing to look forward to, with a few surprises in store.

Nitro Nori is one of the hardest men in the game, he will always entertain, the race will not be a reflection of the rest of the season for him.
Bayliss is yer man, he will be retiring at the end of the season and I'm sure it will be as world champion.
Must say i was surprised with nieto's win but as they say you got to be in it to win it

Just watched the races on eurosport. Excellent is the only word that come to mind. Looks good for the rest of the season. Roll on moto GP.

First ( and maybe the last ) win for Neito.
He needed that, you can only rest on your name for so long.
Just watch Bayliss go from now on. The first race was just a warm up to the rest of the season.

them's the breaks for nori, it'll teach him to keep both hands on the handlebars, but overall, it looks good for a season of hot racing.

I quite enjoyed it personally.
at least he managed to get 14 th though i guess....
i think its great Neito started off so well but i would like to see Max Biaggi do well as i follow James Toseland but he has moved to motogp so im rooting for Biaggi and Pedrosa. woooo woooo
good luck to everyone though as it looks to be a good season and fingers crossed for no serious injuries.
