Yes, this is normal. Since you're 15, your heart rate is going to be much higher than a fully grown adult. The average adult rate is usually in the mid 60's and the average person under 21 is usually in the 70's.

If you measured you heart rate all day long and then had a chart of how much it varied every 5 minutes you would find being as low as 60 to as high as 90 beats per minuted depending upon what you are doing. Your heart rate is just fine. Mine for example has always be 80 or more per minute while my mother's heart rate was around 65 to 70 per minute.

The next time you go to a physician and they are getting ready to take your pulse think to yourself that you want to slow your heart down and your heart will slow down.

I was in a hospital wired so they could monitor my heart beat for an hour and the screen was right where I could watch it. I thought to myself about slowing my heart rate down and I watched it fall from 85 to 62. I then thought about increasing it and it increased back to 85. I did this for an hour and suddenly realized that I could mentally control my heart rate by something called biofeedback.

So to answer your question. You heart rate is just fine and if you want to increase it or slow it down just think about doing it and you will find you can develop biofeedback also.

Sorry if I rambled too much for you. Have a great day.
