Dying in dreams, frequently..... only it's not a bad thing?

This has always been something of a curiosity for me. I usually have dreams wherein I die at least 3 or 4 times a year, if not more frequently. Most of these deaths would be considered 'traumatic'; being stabbed, beaten, shot, exploded, etc. However, these dreams never produce any fear for me, and I often observe my dead body with some annoyance for having let it happen. And then I resurrect myself and keep going. O_o The only 'deaths' that scare me are deaths that occur from falling.

So... what am I to make of my death dreams where I don't stay dead?

Update:

my death dreams have never been associated with times of stress. This dream pattern has also been going on for at least the last 13 years. These dreams are not 'bad' dreams to me. In fact, they are completely normal. That's what I find so odd. O_o

It sounds as if you have had many transitions in your life but you are able to maintain an even keel emotionally when it happens to you. What others might construe as traumatic, you are able to handle with ease. You simply become annoyed that you didn't see it coming.

    Hope this helped.

Do you have everything set for your life??? maybe your satisfied with your life so then your conscience tell you" you can just die." Or do you have episodes in your life where people close to you just die and you can't make closure of their death?? And you want to know how it feels to be like them, dead....But I am pretty sure It has to do something with your conscience; with all your death dreams. Try making it a habit where before you sleep strike up your conscience to have life; your wants in life; what you desire.

I always heard that "death dreams" were really a sign of "life". Sounds like you have a lot of life going on, and in your dreamlike state you don't fear this dreamy "death" thing, because really it is "life". Hmmm...does that make any sense? Sure hope so!
