the both are important in Indian history Mauryan's were good warriors and they conquer most of India Pakistan Bangladesh and Afghanistan and in other parts of India in south they collect tax law and order was good at their time trade was good but in Gupta it was best they sent their ambassador in may countries their army was too strong people have good living status in their capital there were no thefts people do not use locks on houses in Gupta's their empire was also big but not as Mauryan's they were specialized in trade and cultural development
