Richards To Dallas?

According to Eklund, this is pretty much done Presumably for Smith.

Good trade if you ask me, good for both teams. Dallas needs scoring and Tampa needs tending.

Thoughts?

Update:

As of 11:20, Done. Good for tampa- they needed to unload his salary- and good for Dallas- they needed scoring.

Day's first blockbuster!

I think it's a great trade. Maybe Dallas will make it far in the playoffs this year with Richards' help. They have been eliminated in the first round for 3 seasons in a row.

wonderful trade and i am wondering if the Stars are ever going to find another suitable backup for Turco. Holmsqvist is fine but Richards is the best one out of the trade so far. way to go Dallas.

The Stars certainly can use some scoring. I just hate to see Smith go.
