How do all these people make it this far on American Idol when they can't even sing on key?

It's about growth during the show. They (and most do) keep getting better the more they learn and practice. I actually think that this season's talent is the best that it has ever been. It was tough for both the judges as well as the voters to pick a fave seeing as how they were all so good this season.

aaww...Don't you think you're being a little harsh? Even harsher than simon?? :( i actually like around 6 people there, and i think they're not that bad. In fact, I think they're doing really good! ^_^
