What happens to my luggage when I have a layover?
I was just wondering what happens to my luggage when I have a layover and transfer to another plane? Do they transfer it to the next plane or do I have to get it and do it myself? When I fly I usually don't have any stops but I have one this time and I'm really worried about losing my luggage!
I have been majorly stressing about this! I'm starting to feel a little bit better about it now!

Don't worry at all! They will definitely transfer it for you. In fact it will be on your connection flight before you are. It is actually very rare for baggage to go missing, despite what you hear. You really don't have to check with anyone. All the codes are right there on your bag. Have a great trip!

They should transfer it for you. You should not have to get it and check it on.
Confirm this when you check in, you should get a stub that identifies your checked luggage, and the end destination where you can pick up your bags.

They transfer it for you. When you check your luggage you will see the tag will have your destination city.
