cyberpower pc or build my own?
well im planning on getting a new pc, and i asked around here and got recommended to go cyberpowerpc... but after some research i've read some scary stuff about DoAs. So, my other option is buying this barebone kit from tiger direct, which is pretty decent i suppose ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtool... ).
now the problem is i dont have any experience at all in assembling PCs, so basicaly it comes down to risking cyberpower (unless there are other sites that offer customization and pre assembled) and i really wont know what to look for if there's a problem. Or buy from tiger direct and assemble the barebone myself, even though i have 0 experience on assembling pc..
oh and if i should go barebone, can someone help me finding a fans in tiger direct. (i actually don't know anything about fans, all i know is that i should get one for processor and the fan that actually cools the system)

Are you a good a do it yourselfer ? No? Its ok, I'm not. And I've pretty much taught myself how to work on and build computers. Trust me, once you learn how to build your own computer, you are going to save yourself a lot of money and headaches. My personal opinion is go with the barebone. For the cpu fan, just search for fan/heatsink combos for your processor. For example you processor in this barebone would socket am2, so search socket am2 cpu fan in the tigerdirect search bar. For other fans , just search case fans. 120 mm , 72 mm, and 90 mm case fans are standard.

there is alot of help online including step-by-step videos showing how to build a system...
with that said - I would always build my own before buying anything....even if I had the chance to buy / own a $15,000 Falcon Northwest machine. you get exactly what you want and dont pay for anything you dont want --
besides, CyberPower machines are not good...

I wouldn't recommend you build your own Pc. Putting the cpu and applying the right amount of thermal paste is a delicate process.
