1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoLooking for a photoshop signpost Tutorial?
Well, we have to make a Christmas website for my Web Design class. and we have to make a home page.
Anyway for the home page i thought Id just make a simple and nice sign post(the links to the different pages being the "signs") with a nice wintry background. Since im not that good with photoshop i use tutorials very often and I already found a good tutorial for a nice snowy land scape. But i'm having a hard time looking for signpost tutorial. I'm looking for either a "old" wooden sign post style or one of those "north pole" sign post. so if anyone happens to know a tutorial for one or a tutorial that includes how to make a wooden sign post or the north pole sign post, i'd appreciate if you may link me to one!

well im in a wireless connection and wondering if i buy a new router if it will improve my connection specifically in this two areas: download speed and less connection interrupted when playing some FPS games(cod 4 ut2k4, etc)
my router right now is some old crappy dell trumobile2300, and i don't want to waste 50 bucks if i wont see any improvements in the 2 areas i specified. and as much as i want to go wired, i cant as I'm in the 2nd floor and the router is in the basement
1 AnswerComputer Networking1 decade agoplannin on getting a 360....?
well im planning on getting a 360, and with the possible price cut to 199 for the basic console, makes it more the reason to get. And also, with fable 2 coming out, just really makes me wanna get one... but unfortunately, they only thing thats stopping me from getting one is the red ring of death... my cousin who got a 360 and it got rrod so he got a new one just last october with the hdmi thing that was suppose to stop the rrod, but recently he just got the rrod.
I just did some research though, and it seemed that most rrod are caused by overheating, and im planning on playing it in my room, which reaches like 80 degrees, so im kind of scared of that too, but i just really want fable 2, gears 2, etc but im afraid im might just be wasting money when it breaks...

2)i keep getting connection interrupted... its really annoying... is it because im on wireless? and can i do anything about it? and i cant really use a cable(if i can trust me i would) since im here in my room (2nd floor) and the router is at the basement =s....
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoCoD 4 PC Connection problem?
not much as a problem but more of an annoyance... i just got CoD 4 and im frequently getting connection interruption... its very annoying... So far the only reason i can think of is because im on wireless... but my signal is usually excellent/very good.. so does any one have a specific tweak (ive done the max packets thing and set it to 100) or wanna put their 2 cents in?
oh yah, Im playing it on the PC
and also i usually play in servers that have pings that are like 20~50 and the server i usually play on has a ping that's around 20 more or less...

2 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agocyberpower pc or build my own?
well im planning on getting a new pc, and i asked around here and got recommended to go cyberpowerpc... but after some research i've read some scary stuff about DoAs. So, my other option is buying this barebone kit from tiger direct, which is pretty decent i suppose ( http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtool... ).
now the problem is i dont have any experience at all in assembling PCs, so basicaly it comes down to risking cyberpower (unless there are other sites that offer customization and pre assembled) and i really wont know what to look for if there's a problem. Or buy from tiger direct and assemble the barebone myself, even though i have 0 experience on assembling pc..
oh and if i should go barebone, can someone help me finding a fans in tiger direct. (i actually don't know anything about fans, all i know is that i should get one for processor and the fan that actually cools the system)
