Weird feelings!! Has anyone else experienced this??
This same thing happened last month, but I just blew it off as a weird feeling. Well, it's happening again this month and now I'm curious as to what's causing it.
I had an ultrasound on 2/26/08, and my Dr. told me that I have a follicle ready to release and should be ovulating within 48-72 hours. So, according to the US, my temps, my CM and my Clearblue Monitor, I am ovulating today or tomorrow. I started noticing yesterday that I am having a "pulling" sensation low in my abdomen. It doesn't really hurt, it's just uncomfortable. It almost feels like I've been holding my urine and have to pee pretty bad. That's not what it is though, and I know that I don't have a UTI or bladder infection, so I don't know what could be causing it. This also happened last month around ovulation, but disappeared after a few days. And something else, I have a cough I can't get rid of and I have to hold my stomach when I cough, it hurts so bad!
Has anyone else ever experienced this or heard of this?

Just sounds like Ovulation pains.
When you feel ovulation pain (not everyone does) you can feel it before, during or even just after ovulation, and many other kinds of cramps or twinges can be mistaken for it, so it is not a good indicator for pinpointing ovulation on a particular day.
It provides an additional clue, like other secondary fertility signs. Ovulation pain can not be used as a primary indicator for pinpointing ovulation. It is best to look at all signs and the "big picture" when interpreting these signs.
But all seems normal.
when in doubt always ask your GYN.
Good luck ;-) xo

It could be your ovulation pains. All women describe ovulation cramps and pains differently. Just like most woman would describe their period cramps different. Since this happened last month around ovulation too I would think that is what is going on. I would bring it up to your doctor at your next appointment though just to be sure. Best wishes conceiving this month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always had cramps when I ovulated and that's what it sounds like to me. Since you are TTC, a little tip that worked well for me was that I baby danced a few days "before" I began ovulating and that's how I got pregnant.

Does it have like a needle pain to it? When I ovulate it feels like a needle is poking me from the inside. It gets worse when I cough, and have to hold my side too.
