I am thinking about buying a camcorder, but I don't understand the information I am given or what it means?

Here are a set of specific details that a camcorder I found looks good. I want to know what it means and if it is a good deal:

Canon ZR850 - Camcorder - widescreen - 1.07 Mpix - optical zoom: 35 x - supported memory: MMC, SD, SDHC - Mini DV

It's also priced at $199.99

    Here is the short version

Widescreen just means that you will have black strips on the top section and bottom section of your screen. 1.07Mpix is the resolution of the images that it records the higher the better, however for viewing on a standard television the pixels are not noticeable however if you have a high definition or LCD you will notice the pixels on the images the camera will reproduce hence the low price of 199.99 all the other mentioned memory is just the type of card you can add to either record or take still pictures with. Also the 1.07Mpix could just be the resolution of still pictures it takes, and the ccd chip record the images that should not have any pix elation because they would be analog at a higher resolution. If that was not clear contact canon. GOOD LUCK
