How did Noah feed the carnivorous animals in his Ark?? Did he took with him animals just to use them as food?

noah's arc story, was not supposed to be taken literal. it didnt literally happen, it was just a metaphor

Unclean animals were boarded in pairs, but clean animals were boarded in larger numbers (7 pairs), possibly to be used as food for the carnivorous animals, though the text does not specify. See Genesis 6-9 for the full account. G-d's people were still herbivores at this point, so would not have been partakers of animal flesh, but the Noahic laws did not impact animals; those animals which are carnivorous were already carnivorous before the Flood of about 2006 BCE, as evidenced in the fossil record.

God provided the food and the appropriate animals for Noah to take . Then once the animals were fed..God caused them to sleep so they would not get hurt with all the movement of the ark. God would never use other animals in the way you suggested. There was a reason and purpose for everything God expected Noah to do. Then once the Ark was grounded again...the animals were set free...God gave the animals instinct to care for themselves from there...thanks to Noah's obedience.

Noah and his family did not eat the animals. God put two of each kind of animal (male and female) on the ark so they could reproduce after the flood was over.

I'm sure God told Noah to put food in the Ark for them to eat as well as for the animals. Animals can go along time without food but not 40 days and nights unless God fixed their stomachs so they wouldn't get hungry.

Its really amazing that god could magically wave his hand and make the animals not hungry, not carnivorous, provide good etc., but the only way he could figure out how to kill everyone but Noah's family and save the animals was to send a flood and make Noah build a boat bigger than the Titanic.

what that other guy said was true, also take into account, you dont use alot of energy sitting on a boat.

noah didnt have to take FULL GROWN ANIMALS. cows milk could provide plenty for them if most are eggs and youngsters.

if that was the case, you only need to feed the cows, most of the time.

a theory exists that before the flood, many animals were vegetarians, even fanged ones-- look at the panda's teeth.

anyway one of the theories for the carnivores was.. they became carnivores after the flood because of food scarcity.

they may have fattened the animals before the flood thus giving them a generous reserve before the flood.

the cold weather could slow down their metabolism, sleep may have been the only thing to do for many animals.

Couldn't Noah have gone and thrown a net to catch some fishies?.... There was a lot of water wasnt there?

If Jesus could have made his apostles catch a ton of fishies. Could God catch more fish if he was on the ark?

They were not carnivorous then. Even man only began to eat meat AFTER the flood.

It is true that encyclopedias refer to over a million species of animals. But Noah was instructed to preserve only representatives of every “kind” of land animal and flying creature. Some investigators have said that just 43 “kinds” of mammals, 74 “kinds” of birds, and 10 “kinds” of reptiles could have produced the great variety of species of these creatures that are known today. The ark had about 40,000 cu m (1,400,000 cu ft) of usable space—ample for the passenger list.

All had been preserved in a large floating ark that was about 437 feet [133 m] long, 73 feet [22 m] wide, and 44 feet [13 m] high. Since the only functions of the ark were that it be watertight and that it stay afloat, it had no rounded bottom, sharp bow, means of propulsion, or equipment for steering. The ark had a carrying capacity equal to that of 10 freight trains of about 25 American boxcars each!

It is believed that they hibernated. Also, Noah was told to take 1 pair of some animals, but 7 pairs of other kinds and they also continued to multiply at sea, so, it's possible that there was enough food.

How did he feed ANY of the animals in the ark? How do you feed two of every beast for that length of time? Where do you store enough food for two elephants, two rhinos, two lions, two etc. etc. How do you keep them from fighting each other? How do you keep them clean? How come the ark was not heaving with poop? Maybe it was. But of course the story is only a story.

God filled their hungry tummies with magic pixie dust and sunshine and everyone lived happily ever after. Except the rest of the human race besides Noah's family who drowned in the flood and then burned in hell for eternity
