What is one condiment you could.......?

not live without? I think mine would have to be ketchup!

    SALT! It's the only condiment that you REALLY can't live without...you will REALLY die without it. My other choice, mustard, is just to make food taste better, both in the cooking and on the side, as a condiment.

    Mmm...and mint sauce with lamb and apple sauce with pork.

    And sweet chilli sauce with crabcakes...or hot chocolate sauce with profiteroles

    I could go on...

    Ketchup is the only one I use, so thats my pick.

    True, we could die without salt, but I think its considered more a seasoning rather than a condiment. Same as pepper, which by the way, I love just as much as ketchup.

    French fries, hamburgers, and all the delicious foods in the world would be broken-hearted without a smothering of ketchup.

    Historically the necessary condiment has been salt, with vinegar a close second.
