  • My boss comes to work hung over all the time...?

I work for a franchise pizza restaurant. It is owned by a very rich man who has no real dealings with the day to day operation. He has a supervisor who is in charge of running these issues. The supervisor oversees the store managers but is only in the store for a few minutes each week. My store manager does not deserve the position. Hr comes into work Hung over or drunk, he never works the times he is scheduled, he sleeps in the back, allows his friends in the store for extended periods if time, gives away tons of free food, talks to his employees in inappropriate and often sexual ways, and is all around lazy. How do we make this known without it looking like a mutiny or risking our job? All employees feel the same.

  • My husband and I have been married for four years and have never used a condom (we were both virgins)...?

I have been on birth control the whole time and I don't know if I can afford it anymore. (this economy is terrible) As it is we only have intercourse once or twice each month and I think it would be cheaper to go with condoms. How can I convince my hubby this is a good idea? And also I am allergic to latex so I am a little bit afraid...any advice? Thanks in advance.

  • Is there a magazine for women with photos of men in swimsuits?

I am getting annoyed by the SI swimsuit editions and wonder if there is anything like this with pictures of scantily clad men for women to "enjoy". I mean, why wouldn't there be, right?

  • Has anyone ever heard of a magic/silver bullet...not the blender?

Some older ladies I work with were giggling about it...saying it was something dirty, but they won't tell me. Has any one ever heard of this or know what it means? My first thought was a personal sexual device....i could be wrong.

  • Good responses to "when are you going to have a baby"?

My husband and I have been married for almost three years and almost from the day we became engaged I have had to deal with well-meaning people asking when we plan to become parents. The truth is that we don't want a child. When I tell people this they don't believe me or dismiss it as youth. Why is it so hard for people to accept that not all couples are meant to be parents? How can I appease these people so they stop asking me?

Btw, I am 22 years old and my husband is 27 so IF we ever changed our minds it's not like we are on any type of time constraint.

  • Any suggestions for an x-mas gift for brother's girlfriend...?

They have been dating for almost 4 months and are pretty serious. She is 20 years old, in culinary school, and works as a line cook in a chop house. She likes to read. Beside that I really don't know a whole lot about her. We don't want to spend a fortune but want her to be included in the Christmas celebration.

    Thank you for your help.

  • My husband is so afraid of me getting pregnant?

My husband has become so afraid of me becoming pregnant that he refuses to have sexual intercourse with me. We have both decided that we do not want children and it is a mutual understanding.

I have been on the pill for 5 years and we have never even had a close call. I am as regular as can be.

He will only perform and/or receive oral sex.

It starting to harm our relationship. I no longer look forward to sex.

Is this behavior normal? And how can I change it?

How can I convince him that it is okay?

A vasectomy or tubal ligation is not an option as we are too young for any doctor to even consider us.

I am hoping to get some new ideas for things to cook on a griddle. I have made pancakes, grilled cheese, bacon, sausage, etc. But I love how easy it is to clean and was hoping to get some new ideas.

    Thanks!

  • Strange nervous stomach problem?

I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so what type of treatment works because my doctor says she has never heard of anything quite like it.

When I am in a car for almost any length of time ( ten minutes to ten hours) my stomach gets very upset to the point where I get a very strong urge to need a bathroom. And it is not just that I THINK I need the bathroom because i do actually get physically ill. This only happens when I am in the car and usually once I get to wherever it is I am going I feel better...until it is time to leave again.

The doctor put me on anxiety pills but they don't seem to be doing much to help.

    Thank you for constructive input.

  • A seemingly simple problem with toilet flapper?

There was a tear in our toilet flapper so we replaced it with one that is identical. When the flapper goes down, though, it does not fall right on where it can seal. Instead it falls slightly forawrd and stays there. If you move it manually you can get it right on to seal it.

The toilet bowl just keeps filling up because the flapper is not sealed.

Any ideas how we can fix this?

  • A problem with my sump pump?

The snow is starting to melt and I noticed today that the sump pump is running continuosly. There is not a lot of water in it to the point that it would actually need to run. Also, it appears to have a smell sort of like smoke coming from it.

I am worried that it will burn itself out and then not work when it needs to. What should I do?

Do i need to unplug it and keep an eye on it to plug it back in when it gets full?

  • Is there a way to keep peeled potatoes fresh?

Once each week I make beef stew for my husband. I start it in the morning in the crock pot before I leave for work. But I have found that peeling potatoes in the morning is very time consuming. Is there any way I can peel the potatoes the night before and add them to the stew in the morning without them turning?

This would really help me out a lot.

  • Would you feel jealous or insecure if your partner?

Worked at a job with only members of the opposite sex?

I don't neccessarily mean in an office setting, but in a setting more like retail or the food industry where there are only two or three people in the store at any given time.

  • How do I tell my husband something I am afraid to?

I had an abnormal pap and need to go in for a coloscopy, but I really don't know how to tell my husband. I am afraid that he will be scared or upset or angry. He is a very good man and has never hurt me, but for some reason I can't seem to bring myself to tell him this. It is eating away at me and I could really use his support in dealing with this fear.

Does anyone have any suggestions to make this easier?

  • Has anyone ever had a colposcopy?

I just found out that I need to have one done and I must say I am very scared. I had an abnormal pap smear 3 years ago, the one last year was normal, and this year it is abnormal again. I didn't go for the colposcopy the first time because I was too scared.

What exactly can this procedure tell the doctor besides the possibility of cancer? Or is this strictly a test for cancer?

I understand that sometimes women experience cramping and spotting. Are there any other problems I should be aware of?

  • We are having a "soup day" at work?

Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could make and bring in a crock pot? I figure this would be the easiest way to keep it warm...and I love cooking with the crock pot. Thanks!

  • My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years?

At the time we both agreed that we didn't want children. We were/are young ( 21 and 26) but I am starting to think I might one day want a child. We talk about it often and he doesn't say he is dead against it, but I wonder if it is just because I say that if we have children I want it to be by the time I am 30.

He had a baby brother come into his life when he was 13 years old and that is what has made him not want chidlren. I am still unsure myself, but I just can't imagine going on without knowing someone will be there to care for us and to make our lives worth while.

I was wondering if anyone can offer any advice on how to deal with this situation? How do I know if I really want children? How do I know if my husband does? How do I stop this feeling that something is missing?
