What was the big deal about the Pace Cars?

I read in today's paper that NASCAR wasn't happy that the Pace Cars in the Vegas race were decorated to look like police cars. I noticed it during the race & thought it was kind of cool - what's the big deal?

Update:

The direct quote from Nascar Notes:

"Evidently the folks at NASCAR were not overjoyed that the Dodge Charger pace cars used for the Sprint and Nationwide Las Vegas races were decked out as police cars. They didn't like the image, but Dodge persisted and the pace cars remained unchanged."

Still not sure what the image problem was....too bad the police cars couldn't be at the rear of the field - as if chasing down speeders! (Could've used those guys on pit road!)

Its a tough sometimes unrewarding job as a cop. Whats wrong with showing them some respect? I thought it was a great idea.

Really? Thats odd. I thought NASCAR had to approve schemes like that. Including the pace car.

I thought it was an odd scheme for a pace car but an aright one at the same time.

Did anyone else catch the phrase "To Pace and Serve" on the side of the pace car.

I thought they were cool looking.

I have not heard any negative comments from NASCAR.

Besides, they approve this stuff waaaaaayyyyyyy before race time.

I thought racing was about racing and not how you... paint, decorate a car, even the Pace Car. Well, unless it's a sponsor thing.

Either way, what's next? Installing Xmas lights on the Pace Car?! jeez

in case you own a employer, your revenue are likely to fall if inflation is intense. One reason behind it is that you value of things offered will develop. in case you keep prices a similar, then your revenue fall because it caosts you higher to make the product. you would reply by skill of elevating your prices so that you'll get decrease back your earnings margin. yet elevating your prices motives call for to fall -- so your revenue flow down because you do not promote as a lot. both way, your revenue decline. in case your revenue decline, the price of your employer declines. If that occurs, your employer's inventory fee declines. when you consider that this happens to lots of agencies, the inventory marketplace declines -- and some people imagine that is an excellent deal.
