Anyone used Tricare's continued health coverage plan?

Well, I just found out I'm pregnant and my baby is due on my husband's EAS date. So, we're freaking out b/c we won't have anymore Tricare insurance. Has anyone purchased their continued coverage plan? Did you like it? Is it expensive and how much out of pocket will I have to pay for delivery?

I've been out a while, but I believe that if you begin your prenatal care prior to your husband's separation, you will covered for up to 90 days.

Now, if I am wrong and you do have to purchase an extended tricare coverage, then it would be best to do so. With the preexisting pregnancy, you will find it very hard to get any other insurance coverage.

Please check with your tricare rep at your local military health facility asap. to be sure I have my info correct.

I believe Cotton is correct, you should be covered by regular TriCare until 90 days postpartum.

Tri-Care... noticeably to your loved ones is barely an determination for retirees. as quickly as you retire from the protection tension you could go with the proper well being care application that perfect meets the needs of your loved ones, in spite of the shown fact that, while you're basically keeping apart and not retiring then you definately are out of luck.
