If you read the reviews you'll see the people who bought it are getting great gaming performance for an AGP card. Even doing good with Crysis.
Althou the Nvidia 7950GT is a nice card it only runs DX9, not a factor if you plan on running XP forever but, if you're a gamer and plan on putting Vista in sometime or already have it you'll want DX10. Nvidia has kind of forgotten the AGP crowd while ATI has some decent DX10 AGP cards out.

you may look if the cardboard needs exterior ability. yet I reported a lot of mainboards which at the on the spot are not completely like minded with the recent AGP playing cards. So, attempt to purchase the videocard from a keep that allow's you provide it back in 10 days.

7900GS is the best value, if you can still find it. Usually $100.
7950GT is better.
Another good one is the 1950 pro from ATi.
7600GT is even cheaper but not the best, but best for price.
Sadly, you will find upgrading to pci-e would be the best route to take because the 8800gt and gtx are top performers.

I have an Nvidia 8800GTX and it's superb. Top quality.
The Gigabyte HD 3870 XT 512MB is also very good.

I have the PCI-E version of this card and love it.
That card will run games like Call of Duty 4 on medium-high settings, Gears of War near max, Half Life 2 max, and even crysis on low settings
