Over heating?

i have a 94 beretta with 3100 series engine and i just put a new thermostat and radiator in it. but it still over heats i have also purged the system. when i turn the car on it sounds like trickling water or water moving around behind the dash and the firewall is that sound ok? iv never heard that in any other car that i have been in

    Are you positive it's overheating? Or is that what the temp gauge is telling you? It may not be overheating at all. Test the coolant, the engine running, with a thermometer.

    sounds like the thermostat is installed incorrectlty or defect make sure it is purged fully

    Coil heating element(coil) draining back to radiator. No worries mate.
