i have a 01 LS with the V8 3.9 the car has 85,000 on it. i have a few problems going on if you can help me with any i would be happy. ill start with the question that worries me the most i have noticed that if im in drive with my foot on the brake sitting on a decline like a driveway and i go to give it gas it only revs and then after a second once the car levels out it kicks a bit hard into 1st i don't understand it and it only happens when im waiting on a steep driveway. there is no tans dip stick so i cant check the levels is it low or maybe needing a flash? my next problem is that i can hear this sound in park or drive or what ever gear its very faint sound like if someone were to blow through a bendy ribbed straw its the only way i know how to describe it..next my windshield whippers seem to only have one speed and when i turn them off they will keep going for a little while and then stop in any position..well that's about it lol damn car, i like it but it can be a real headache. if i can get any input i would be happy

i have a lincoln ls with V8 has 81,000 miles on it. the problem i have is that it has a bit of a shake to it when the engine is cold when it warms up its still there but barely noticeable also at around 50mph the r.p.ms kind of fluctuate it doesn't do this all the time its kind of rare but it all ways shakes a bit at cold start ups and even when its up to temp. so what is the problem? i have done all general maintenance stuff that i can think of fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter,oil change, cleaned throttle body, fuel injector cleaner. keep it mind it was doing this even before i did all this

i have a 96 Buick riviera with 160,000 miles on it. it has the 3800 series 2 supercharged engine in it. my problem is that when i go to throttle it up it has hesitation for a few seconds also has shuttering at times when i let off the gas. from what i know the intake gaskets suck on these engines but im not burning any coolant. Im not sure what is wrong with it didn't know if any one knew what could be wrong

just wanted to know if there fairly reliable. iv been looking for one and iv seen a few with new engines and they weren't very high mileage about 100 to 140 thousand miles on the ones i saw. if you own a LS or if you have worked on them before give me your advice

it looks to be leaking right in between the oil pan and timing chain

cover i have already put in a new oil pan gasket where do you think its coming from and how can i fix it. the car has 187000 on it and the leak is like a stream it only leaks when its at or close to running temp it also starts to burn oil real bad at running temp

i have a 92 lebaron with 185000 on it and i have a oil leak at where the oil pan meats the timing chain i think.its a steady leak no drops it kind of streams out only when the car is at or close to running temp. thats where the leak looks like its coming from. it looks to be burning oil really bad to.

i need to put a new pan gasket on and i just wanted to know if it was ok to move two braces there in the way of a few bolts on the pan the braces run from the engine to the trans it has a v6 if u needed to know

i bought a 94 dodge intrepid with what the owner said was a bad trans. my question is that the car can drive fine sometimes and sometimes it just wont go into gear. ill put it into drive and it will just sit there sometimes. if i give it gas it revs up but it just sits there like its in neutral. i would say a good 90% of the time it dose that is when i start the car and go from park to reverse. if i go from park to drive its fine. when it drops out like that i have to let the car sit for about a half an hour or so until i can get it to go again. it doesnt matter if the car is at running temp or if its cold.
