Lincoln Ls with v8 reliable?

just wanted to know if there fairly reliable. iv been looking for one and iv seen a few with new engines and they weren't very high mileage about 100 to 140 thousand miles on the ones i saw. if you own a LS or if you have worked on them before give me your advice

i dont know if this helps but im looking to get a LS years 2000 through 2002

    I once considered buying one, the transmissions seem to be a reoccurring weak point in the v8 models. Just read about it on Edmunds consumer reviews.

    LS's are good cars. my sister owned one and it very seldom had any problems. the are fun cars to drive as well. as long as you get one thats been takin care of and is well maintained then you should be good to go
