Give me your best walk-off game winners in post season history...?

Listed by when they happened in that particular series: games one through seven.

Off the top of my head, I can think of one for each except game two. Games six and seven have lots of choices, so give me a compelling argument.

Update:

I don't think you guys are getting it. Give me a list...

Game one: Kirk Gibson 1988 WS

Game two:

Game three: Thompson's shot heard round the world, Big Papi in 2004 LDS

Game Four: Big Papi 2004 ALCS

Game Five: Chris Chambliss 1976 ALCS, Big Papi again in 2004 ALCS

Game Six: Fisk 1975 WS or Puckett, 1986 Mets NLCS and WS, 1991 or Carter 1993, Cardinals in 2004 NLCS

Game Seven: Mazerowski in 1960, Twins in extra innings 1991, Braves and Pirates 1992 NLCS, Dimondbacks in 2001, AF'n Boone 2003 ALCS,

Game 1: Kirk Gibson off Eckersley, put a dagger through the heart of me in the 7th grade!

Game 2: Jim Leyritz 1995 ALDS off Tim Belcher

Game 3: Bobby Thomson's shot heard round the world. Giants win three game playoff 2-1

Game 4: Todd Pratt Home Run 1999 NLDS

Game 5: Chris Chambliss 1976 ALCS

Game 6: Carlton Fisk 1975 (this seems to still get more play than Joe Carter and is considered by many to be the greatest game ever played.)

Game 7: Bill Mazeroski's shot in 1960 to win the series.

Source(s): Edit to conform to question. Original Answer was Maz, Bobby Thomson

What...no love for Kirby Puckett? Man...game 6 of the 1991 World Series. First he goes and makes the greatest defensive play in Twins history by jumping up over the fence into the centerfield glass, then he comes up in extra innings and hit's a walk off HR. You remember Jack Buck with the call "And we'll see you tomorrow night!" I get chills just thinking of that. Of course there is Gibson. Aaron Boone (hate that guys guts), and Papi...Joe Carter. All are amazing. For me...it was Puckett. As an 8 year old kid...I thought he was the greatest hero I'd witnessed.

This has to be in the top three if not number one.

Game 1 of the 1998 World Series. Kirk Gibson coming in to pinch hit in his only appearance at the plate in the game. Hobbling to the plate he hits the home run to drive in 2 runs and give the Dodgers a 5-4 win. They of course went on to win the Championship in 5 games. Too good.

The Blue Jays are World Series Champions as Joe Carter hits a three run homerun in the ninth inning and the Blue Jays have repeated as World Series Champions!!! Touch 'em all Joe, you'll never hit a bigger homerun in your life! Game 6 of the 1993 World Series. I can't believe everyone missed that!

2007 ALDS, Game 2...Manny Ramirez walk off 3-run HR to win it in the bottom of the 9th against the Angels...that was a majestic shot...has to be one of the best.

    Edit:

    Game One: '88 WS Gibson

    Game Two: '07 ALDS Ramirez

Game Three: '04 ALDS Big Papi

Game Four: '04 ALCS Big Papi

Game Five: '04 ALCS Big Papi

Game Six: '93 WS Joe Carter (this one gets it over Fisk just because it won the series for Toronto)

    Game Seven: '03 ALCS Boone

Game 7, 2003 A.L.D.S. when Aaron Boone hit a home run off of Tim Wakefield of the Red Sox, to win the game, and the series for the Yankees.

Now I see all this Aaron Boone crap from 2003...but other than Yankees fans, who remembers it? Yay, you got to the World Series, you have to win it though to make anything that season memorable.

Kirk Gibson...all time greatest walk off

    David Ortiz...04

Okay there have been alot of good post season homeruns but you know I really think that if your homerun wins the world series, that might be one of the best ever!! Joe Carters walk off homerun to win the world series for the Blue Jays. I mean if you win the world series for your team....WOW!!!!!
