When you have blood drawn, do your arms hurt afterward?
Not just where the needle was, but up and down your arm. Kind of like muscular pain, but not sore muscles? I admit I get really tense 'cause I'm terrified of needles (although I'm not as bad as I used to be), but my arms are sore deep inside... both arms, because she couldn't get a good vein, so she had to stick both arms... didn't help my needle-phobia!!
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced such pain.

Its not meant to no. I would say the reason your arms are sore is because you are tensing your muscles up at the time.
Try and relax, I know its easier said than done! :)
It is common in injections (where the syrum goes into you, instead of withdrawing blood) because the syrum needs to be spread.
If you don't drink water much, it might be a good idea to get some into you, it could be a possibility why she couldn't find a vein (dehydration)
I know when I had to get the last IV drip she missed my vein and it bubbled up and had problems because my veins were so small from dehydration.
Good luck! There are lots of people with needle phobias.

i'm pretty sure it's nothing serious since all you had done was getting your blood draw but if you're still hurting in a few days then go back to the doctor and get it checked out. if your arm looks normal, not swollen or a different color then you should be okay.
since you said you are terriefied of needles, im pretty sure you were very tense while they were trying to look for a vein. You should always try to stay relaxed when you get injections. I have the same problem but i just try to think of something else when it happens. next time you get your blood drawn, ask them if they have a place where you can lie down and do it. They offered it to me once, and it helped a LOT. You are definitely more relaxed and you can close your eyes and just take deep breathes.
practice meditation, deep breathing, helps a lot in these type of situations. especially like right now. I'm pretty sure you were experiencing anxiety and you worrying right now isnt making yourself any better. Relax, breathe, drink some hot tea, take a hot shower or bath if you can. Try not to do anything physical for the next day or so. Thinking positive thoughts will help a lot and speed up the healing process.
hope this helps. good luck!

Absolutely.
It's quite common actually. More common in injections than having blood drawn, but yeah.
As long as it goes away within the next day or two.
Otherwise, consult a doctor cuz that nurse might of been trying to play darts
