I crossed into the after life after a car accident that took my life in the late 1930's. My teachers and friends were there to greet me and bring me into that realm. I had died enough times that I knew my body was dead when I saw it in a burning car, and I had been thrown clear.
It is a place to review your lives, see what you have learned on your road to progression. You are one in the light as you learn; if you have learned your lessons, I assume you don't come back. I've always come back to experience it again and again. Each time my mission is different, and the relationships between me and my soul group are new.
In the time between lives., there is a great deal of learning.

I don't believe in an afterlife or a pre-birth, just a life. After my life I'll be recycled.

After I got divorced I found the afterlife.
I want to believe that there is an afterlife, maybe it is what most have the image of, God, love, peace, eternal happiness and of course lots of oreo cookies.

There is life after life.
But the best part, I guess, is in the interim period, i.e., during the period between two lives. That is where one meets with one's Creator, one sees the light in its most pristine form; that is the period where learning happens.
There is life after life as well.

"Dust thou art and to dust returneth , was not spoken of the soul"
I whole heartedly agree with the poet Longfellow on this view. Our body dies but the soul, which is a part of the Divine Being, is imperishable and lives on.

The same thing that's in the "before life"
Remember those good ol' days?
Regardless of what we think it will be. I feel confident that whatever happens, it will be what it is...regardless of what we think.
But I repeat myself.
Hmmmm ....interesting.

afterlife = the worms feasting on my rotting corpse....followed by the plants growing from the remains.....
