i have a friend that is like my sister and her boyfriend is a dick to me when she isnt around why?

Sounds like your friends boyfriend is trying to come between you and your friend. Likely it is a control issue the boyfriend has, he want your friends all to himself. If you tell your friend you run the risk that she will take his side and defend him. Have you told the boyfriend that you don't like the way he treats you? I think I would start there, if that doesn't work then ask him again with you friend there when you ask him. Hope this helps.

He is jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not tell her that he is mean to you. Just throw some suggestions that you think that he may not like you. She will take his side if you put her on the defensive, and this will play right into his little plan. The best thing that you can do is confront him when you are alone with him. He sounds like a total loser. Im guessing hes one of the rare kind of men that feel threatened by their girlfriens close friendships. I hate to say this but be careful of what you say to her as he will probably deny everything. Rise ubove this sadass ur friend will eventually see through him. well, you run the risk of losing a friend. he's just gonna deny it cause he's a coward. and she might side with him. why don't you confront him first. then see what happens......

I think it's his way of making himself not like you, or his way of proving to you that he doesn't like you. Also could be that he's jealous of you and possessive of your friend.
