rear back wheels dragging? car dragging i need help!?
I own a 2000 Mercury Mystique. I was driving home from work and suddenly my car made a loud noise from the back and when i pressed on the gas it felt like the back part of my car was dragging. i pulled into a parking lot and had it towed to a local repair shop. I'll know tommorrow what it is for sure but i'm afraid it could be very expensive or something serious.
any car people out there who might know?
thanks.

That happened to me while driving my Ford Explorer. I needed new brakes.

With out looking is difficult to tell what wrong. Sounds like a broken spring.

sounds like it could also be a wheel cylinder sticking.
