walmart $4 scripts for first 30 days only?
Just wondering if those $4 prescriptions were just for the 1st 30 day supply. I was reading the fine print on the list and it made me think it was only for the initial prescription. Not for refills?

I am a pharmacy tech at walmart. It will cover the refills as well. It's stated that way so that people don't get more than a 30 day supply at once. If you have a script for 90 days then it wouldn't be 4.00, they couldn't afford to stay in business if it was. So every time you get your 30 days worth, it will be 4.00. You turn around at the end of the 30 days and get your refill for 4.00 as well.
Oh yeah and the script must be a new prescription. You could have been taking this medication for a long time and that won't matter as long as you go to your doctor and have them make out a new paper script when all of your other refills from your old prescription are gone.
They don't have to be picked up by a family member either. Anyone that can normally pick up your scripts will be fine for the 4.00 ones as well and that includes friends and such.

that is $4 for each and every 30 day prescription.
It says the first Rx must be presented in person, but after that you can use call in, online ordering or mail in ordering for refills. But they all must be picked up by a person in your family.
