I would guess that you are ALLOWING people to change clothes all the time when it isn't necessary. Tell them you are not going to do it all the time. As a sidenote, who buys clothes that require ironing?

I agree - iron less! Take things out of the washing machine (and dryer) as soon as they're done and deal with them so that they become less wrinkled.

Get a teflon coated ironing board cover to help you do both sides of garments at once, esp. sleeves. Always use an ironing aid spray. (Fabulon etc)

Don't iron unnecessay things or put in unecessary effort - for example, the back of a shirt gets crushed as soon as someone puts their back against a car seat, lounge etc. - so give it less ironing attention.

Ensure things aren't unnecessarily put into the wash. Will they last another day?

Teach the kids and hubby to iron :) (good luck)

I agree a lot with Joan.

I start taking clothes out one or two pieces at a time and keep the dryer running till they are all hung up, then I fold the rest right there on

top of the machine. Yes and do watch your labels. I do it this away whether or not I am doing one load or a whole days worth.

You are probably ironing more than you need to. Take things out of the dryer and hang them up. Just smooth out t-shirts as you fold them up.

Then start watching the 'care' label when you buy things so you buy only things that don't need ironing.

Is your oldest child old enought to help with the ironing? I started ironing pretty young and always have loved doing it.

tell you what... invest in one of those handy dandy floor steamers like department stores use... I can guarentee that not only will you find the bottom of the ironing pile, but you will actually find yourself enjoying this fruitless task! I have a steamer (brand name - Jiffy) and it is really cool to see the wrinkles disappear as that magic wand of steam comes near the fabric.

Don't be surprised if you are begging your neighbors to let you do their ironing as well!!!!! :-)

ok, I have curly hair like you and had many problems with it. What I have realized to do is straighten your hair like you in many situations do, then grab a small area of hair on the crown of your hair (on the decrease back were your area in many situations ends). actually take the ideal 1/2 or It wont artwork! pull your hair immediately up and brush it. Then take your straightener and straighten it. earlier you position it down grab the layers from actual less than it and repeat. do purely this or perhaps as your performed take a hand-held mirror and stand inclusive of your decrease back to the fastened mirror, put off the little mirror so that you'll discover the decrease back. straighten any project parts. i quite desire this helps! reliable luck!

    buy wash and wear ONLY.

    no all cotton garments.

wash in the machine, dry in the dryer, wala no ironing

    good luck to ya.
