What is the best thing to do for a cold sore?

I know all about yogart and abreva but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do?

Update:

I have used abreva lots of times but at this time I'm sort of broke and that **** is sooo expensive. I hate to be cheep but I am damn it! The stupid tube is smaller than my pinky finger and is like 16 bucks! But I know it does work and if I had them cash to spare I would get it, but until then what should I do?

If you feel a coldsore coming up, a good way to make it come and go faster is to put ice on it.

yes....use the meds and leave it alone. It will go away in 7-10 days and stress brings them out.
