    Q1:

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,

Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,

One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,

One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Q2: The One Ring gave its wearer power over all the other rings and their wearers. It makes you The Boss. It also makes you invisible, but Sauron wanted it back for the other reason.

Q3: It's stated clearly in "The Return of the King" that the One Ring was destroyed in Mt. Doom. Sauron died. Mordor fell. End of story. (No more sequels!)

Q1 Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk, agh burzum-ishi krimpatul. (That sounds awesome in a Creepy voice)

Q2. It gave it's bearer power over all the other rings. It gave one dominion and control over all the creatures of Mordor, provided one was strong enough. It allowed one some extent of understanding of the tongues of Mordor's creatures (remember Sam in the Pass). It granted abnormally long life. It allows a person to see into the world of wraiths (the Tolkien spirit world, if you will). It made a person invisible (rather, I think it allowed the wearer to phase into the wraith world while worn, as your shadow can still be visible under strong light)

Q3 It's pretty conclusive...Bara-Dur was laid low, Sauron's control and influence vanished, the Nine were blasted. The question as whether Sauron himself was absolutely obliterated is open to debate though. The Ring represented a "greater part of his power" but not the whole.
