Any experience with off-brand amplifiers?

I know they are crap and they overrate the wattage, no hiding that. But I need one to power my car speakers (duh) because the stock amps were gone when I bought the car. Sound quality? Reliability?

Thanks

There's only one way to get quality and reliability, spend the extra money. Listen to this.....when I used Jenson amps, I would carry an extra on vacation because they burned up so much! Duh, four Jensons equals one good Alpine!

cheaper is not always better. if you just want music and really dont care about it that much throw anything in there then. for alittle bit more you can get a little better amp with better specs.

Just look for cea compliant amps and you get what you should get.

Non cea compliant amplifiers are bad and they really SUCK.
