You tube video upload file type?

When you edit video with windows movie maker, what is the best file type to suit You tube?

    the official accepted formats for youtube are: .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, MPEG and .MP4, formats

    I recommend choosing "other settings" and "High quality video small" from the dropdown.

    If you want more quality than that (but the file size will be considerably larger- take longer to convert and upload), you can choose "Best fit to file size" and click the up arrow button until it switches from 320x240 to 640x480 (It will tell you in the "setting details" box in the lower left corner of the "Save Movie Wizard" pop up window) and then click "Next" to save.
