voice coils and amp?
can u take a dual voice coil sub and take to amps and wire each amp to a voice coil so u have 2 amps running 1 sub???

yes, but the amps must be the EXACT same in every way. settings, gain control, etc

These two are both right....
You can possibly do it but you will have to have the EXACT same settings on both the amps. So it is not a recommended method for wiring up a sub.

NO!!!
The slightest difference in component values will cause uneven heating of the coils which will cause warping.
