Ok I have 06 Dakota 4.7. Stock exhaust. Want to replace muffler to get better sound. Will replacing just the muffler give me that much of a difference in tone?? And looking at flow master 40 series. Any opinions? I want something with a nice tone that you can hear when you give her some lol. can t stand the quiet of stock. Thanks

I have a kicker 1000.1 wired 2 ohms to a 15in l3. What is the best setting for gain bass boost and especially x over?? I looking for maximum clean bass to run at right frequency. I know nothing about how to set frequency or x over. Thanks

Tryin to install a CD player in my truck. Got dash kit an harness. However CD player will not turn on. Started lookin into it and the red wire on my aftermarket harness which is suppose to have power with key on does not have power. Turns out that red wire does not connect to anything on main harness from truck. The main harness has 2 wires that have constant power with or without key on. No other wires have power wit key on. So how does my stock radio shut off and turn on with the key???? How do I get the power to my CD player?? Run a wire to fuse panel?? I would think I should not have to do that. Help plz and thank you

Still goes into protect. Could sub cuz this?its 15 l7 works great sounds great. But turned up amp will kick out til i turn it down a hair. Had it hooked up same way for years no problems now it does this. HELP!!!!!

i have a kicker zx1000 amp with gain,bass,and x over controls. i have it hooked to a kicker 15in l7 at two ohms. wut are the best settings for the x over?? wut does it do exactly and how do i knw how to set it?

i just bought a 08 15in l7 refurbished and i sounds awesome. i have it on a kicker zx 1000 at 2 ohms. however when i have it out of the trunk the sub makes a slight slapping or lite pop when the volume is up which sounds liek its comin from the inside. its not loud but i didnt knw what it might be and if it was gonna cuz a problem. when i have it back in the trunk and have it cranked you cant hear it at all in the car. its like its not doing it at all... so its not affecting anything i just want to make sure its not gonna cuz a serious problem in the future.. any ideas??????? thanx

can u take a dual voice coil sub and take to amps and wire each amp to a voice coil so u have 2 amps running 1 sub???

i have 2 15in kicker cvrs and 1 kicker zx1000 watt amp.. i want to get another zx1000 to run each sub wit 1 amp so they each get their peak wattage... however is it worth the extra money for the 2nd amp compared to 1 amp runnin both subs?? will runnin each sub wit its own amp be alot louder than 1 amp wit both subs?

i have 1 15in kicker cvr 2ohm and 1 15in cvr 4ohm both hooked up to a kicker 1000zx amp. now when i had them wired wit 2 2ohms it sounded like crap. its soo much better wired as 2 ohm and 1 ohm combo, but i knw thats not good for the amp and the amp kicks out at high volume.. is this cuz of the mismatch of ohms?
