I got kicker amp. Kicks off when turned up. Tried all brand new wires. Is my amp goin bad?

    Probably not...check how your subs are wired and your amp! If your amp only drops down to 4ohms and u have 2 dvc subs wired parallel ur amp is going into protect mode...basically try running everything straight to ur amp no bridge no wiring in parallel. Also check and make sure all of your connections as far as ground wire/power are solid. Goodluck

    Sounds like your ground wire doesn't have a good connection. Make sure that your ground is connected to bare metal on your chassis. Scrape off any paint or shiny finish that could be on the metal. Also, make sure that your subs are wired correctly.
