amps for an L7?

well the last two answeres surprise the helll out of me... lets see kicker vs hifonics and 2 out of 2 chose hifonics???

listen kicker is the better choice of the two...and the kicker amp is going to be loud... for SPL kickers are a mainstay in alot of peoples cars..

the kicker puts out more power to a 2 ohm load, the hifonics can run a 1 ohm load with a whoopdy do 1.5 db increase in volume, but does so with much higher distortion and no headroom whats so ever....and forget about any kind of driver control. propblem is alot of people hear two systems and 9 times out of ten think the louder one sounds better, truth is sq and volume are two total differnt things, and the kicker overall will be a much better preformer than the hifonics.....

now that i have said kicker is better than hiofonics, let me now say i really dont care for kicker amps.....i personally would take a rockford, or alpine over a kicker anyday of the week.

I agree with HF... my 15l7 slams off of my bx1500d. Ive abused the thing for about 3 years now and it's still goin strong. I know a lot of people say hifonics is crap but mine has naver given me a single problem. Definately worth checking out

No. I would recommend you to match it with a Hifonics Brutus
