My kicker 1000 goes into protect when sub hits loud notes. Replaced all wires and sent amp to kicker?
Still goes into protect. Could sub cuz this?its 15 l7 works great sounds great. But turned up amp will kick out til i turn it down a hair. Had it hooked up same way for years no problems now it does this. HELP!!!!!

I think its because you are giving the amp too much power. It may say 1000 watts, but really about 800W without cutting out. An amp's performance will diminish over time.

stay far from MTX they're absolute junk, circulate with the kicker comps or plenty extra proper 2 12" L5 solobarics. you will get them for about $three hundred a pair on Ebay. Thats the position I were given mine and it became into the besr selection I made.
