Is it ok to infringe on the rights of some to accomedate the will of the minority?

    No. But it is not right to infringe on the rights of a minority to accommodate the majority, either... That is called class warfare.

    That depends on who you ask. According to the right-wing, yes. For example, they keep demanding that they be allowed to use state facilities to promote their version of Christianity. Less than 50 years ago, this same group continued to demand the power to disenfranchise and ghettoize African-Americans.

    But if you ask a real American, the answer is no.

    Interestingly enough, no. (Or no mostly). Most countries have parliaments with balances, theoretically to prevent such a dangerous way.
