How many people from this section have you blocked?
The subject of blocking posters has come up so often in this section recently that I think it's time to lay our cards on the table.
So, how many people have you blocked?
Me: none.

Hi Good,
Only one person blocked me, not sure why as I have never answered any of her questions nor has she answered any of mine.
I never block anyone. I am interested in what everyone has to say here.
Thanks for asking.

I don't have anyone blocked, i've blocked a couple people in the past, but haven't had anyone blocked for a few weeks now(i think) at least.
I've been blocked by the social worker who changes her name for as long as I can remember thus, I don't answer her questions.
I was blocked by cowboy for a very long time, and had her blocked for a while too, but since her departure, I'm unsure if she's blocked or unblocked at this point. I can't really figure out how to tell w/out seeing her posting or profile :)
How do I know if someones blocked if I don't see them posting? None of the regular current posters here are blocked by me.

However, a long while back I had several people blocked because (stupid me) I thought that was how to disable email. I learned the hard way, by asking a question, and was soooo embarrassed at my stupidity.I fixed the problem immediately and since then have not blocked anyone. And I've had a change of heart about the whole email thing so that is no longer diabled.
ETA: I think I'm currently blocked by Mr. Blanks...don't ask me why and who cares. And I get blocked now and then by a certain person whenever she disagrees with me but I don't think I'm blocked by her now.

as quickly as, I by danger pressed the block button in spite of the indisputable fact that then found out what I had finished and unblocked them. lamentably, i've got additionally by accident given a thumbs down, and pronounced every person. fortunately, the record has that 2d window that seems so it was once unhazardous, yet I in spite of the indisputable fact that assume risky for the unintentional thumbs up. I forgot who it replaced into as quickly as on, so until that is a advise answer, I particularly in many cases attempt to circulate by and delivers every person a thumbs up :) wedding ceremony ceremony vowels. I in basic terms skipped over it thinking the indisputable fact that I knew i would not be able to say something high quality.

At the moment...the social worker who changes her name a lot has me blocked. And one AP, I don't know why she blocked me, in all honesty I've never had any interaction with her or thought I've done anything to offend, but apparently I have. But oh well, what can you do?
I don't think I have anyone blocked, sometimes if I get mad at someone I'll throw the block up for a little while until I get over it, oh and I did have the social worker blocked for a while, only because she blocked me and I thought I'd extend the favor. Trite, I know, but part of me still likes to be childish. =-p

They also have me blocked. Blocking a poster only prevents them from reading and responding your questions. They can still give you thumbs up and down, so really what's the point of blocking them.

None...the people who annoy me often have the most entertaining answers :-) Why would I want to block them?
I blocked a guy once in politics who started stalking me. All I said was that Hillary Clinton was a Methodist. He went crazy on me! I still can't figure that one out.

none on this section.
i accidentally blocked someone once, and didn't realize it until later. so i unblocked them.
i don't understand what the big deal is with the blocking. if someone doesn't want to hear your answer or read your questions, so be it. personally i just don't read them, i don't need to block them.
if they're sending you nasty emails that's a different story, then i can understand the blocking. i had to do this for awhile. eventually they loose interest though and move onto someone else.

I have had a couple of people that I temporarily blocked after they blocked me. I unblocked them when I realized it wasn't a problem to have someone unblocked if they have you blocked. It's not something I prefer to have, as it limits the responses and discussion that can occur on a question. I don't have anyone blocked at this time.
ETA:
Unless someone were to start harassing me (which I don't see happening,) I don't see why I would need to block now that I realize you don't need to block people when they block you.
