At 16 you'll need a permit first and then your license. I believe it's still 50 hours of permit driving before your license too, right?

No u dnt have to a permit first u can wait till u turn 18 and take the written test and driving test all in one day and the four hour drug and alcohol course. But I think u should go ahead and get ur permit so u can have some practice and then go take the drivers license test six months afterward its really easy try and find out if they have a drives ed class at ur school and u can take the test in class and get your permit that and get a grade for taking an easy elective

Call the DMV to check the laws of your state (I'm assuming you live in the United States), but at least in Colorado you need to be at least 18 to get your license without first having your permit and I know that a lot of states are the same way.

i've got self assurance you will get your license, besides the undeniable fact that it will be a provisional license. meaning you will ought to be abode at a definite time, you could'tpersistent with extra desirable than a million non relatives member interior the vehicle, and that i think of it lasts for 3-6 months, some thing like that.

im pretty sure you need to have a permit in order to get your lisence. without it, it shows that you have had no proper practice with driving, and the dmv won't issue you your lisence.

I think it's different in each state. Check with the DMV.
