Best suburb to live in Buffalo, NY?

There are a lot of great suburb of Buffalo to live in, just depends on which way you want to go...you also may want to consider snow fall... are you going to need to be communting into Buffalo everyday? So you might want to consider traffic.

Amherst, Hamburg,Orchard Park, West Seneca. All good suburbs. I personally like Hamburg, nice small town feel to it, close to a lot of things, close to the lake, I lived in Orchard Park for a few years, it is also nice, good schools.

Hamburg is nice, Frontier has a good district and so does Orchard Park. Look out for high property taxes. Avoid the north towns if you are not a fan of lots of traffic constantly and that suburban sprawl feel. It is mostly big box office type stores, malls, and bad traffic. The south towns feel more cozy and less crazy.

We live in Lancaster & I love it, not too far from the city, has a quiet village area with older homes and an area that has built many new homes in the few years, close to shopping, sports arenas etc. I love it here!
