Definatly Maddison the way it can be shortened to Maddie is so sweet.
I always felt left out beucase my friends name's Samantha so she could be called Sam, Sammi, Sammie or Sammy when with my name being Morgan I could only get my name shortened to Morg, Mor, Morgy, Morgie, Morgi or Morgz which isn't "cool".
Hope I helped!

India was first used as a name to show support for the British colonisation of India. For anyone who has studied British imperialism or knows anything about colonisation, this is likely to be their first thought upon meeting your daughter India. Indira is an Indian name, sounds virtually the same, but doesn't carry such negative associations
Maddison is a trendy, masculine surname. It's sudden increase in popularity means it's likely to be as dated as Gertrude and Bertha in years to come. Plus I wouldn't want "son" in my daughter's name
If I had to choose between a manly surname and a name that reeks of colonisation, I'd choose the surname. She could always go by Maddie

I used to hate the name India, until I met a stunning lass with the name. I think it grows on you. Indys a good nickname too.
Maddison is a beautiful name, but then again, I'm from England and have never met a Maddison in my life. I gather that it is very common in the states. Just as Amy/Aimee, Chantelle and Chloe is over here. =]

Maddie for sure, but i do like Madelline better than Maddison, a little more feminine.

India!
Maddison is simply too popular, too common, too overdone. She'll be one in a crowd.
As India, she'll stand out. What a fabulous, glamorous name. And while it's in vogue as a place name currently, India has a long history of use as a personal name, too - especially among the British. So it has a sophistication that many place names, like Savannah, simply can't touch.
Best wishes!

Maddison, because India is not a great name. Maybe Maddison India ***Last name***.

Madison Elizabeth. I think Maddie is adorable for when she is little!!
I don't like the name India at all. She is a person, not a country.
