Tapeworm diet?

I heard about this years ago but thinking back on it wouldn’t a symbiotic relationship with a tapeworm that could helped keep the extra big mac off be a welcome companion to many American families. I mean as long as you know you have it it can always be removed and you could easily take the necessary vitamins needed from the tapeworm... With modern medicine wouldn't it be safe then bypass surgery or liposuction?

Update:

good point lisa, still knowing that it's there you could always take preventative steps to ensure it doesn't cause you to many problems... idk... just throwing it out there.

It's a great diet, I've been on it for years, and I'm extremely sexy.

Also, it's really nice to have them there to talk to when you don't have any friends.

the tapeworm diet is a very very very old "diet" plan.

    Both have there disadvantages.

Tapeworms if not properly watched over you can get extremely sick and malnurtish (i cant spell) and if it goes on long enough you can die.

Bypass surgery is expensive. one it can cause up to 32000 dollars just for the precedure alone not including the aftercost of the doctors appointments and medicine. plus it is dangerous a lot of people die or develop cancers. (my friend develop cancer after her bypass.

And the same thing that happened with liposuction. Expense and can cause complications

In China in traditional pharmacies you can buy this as a product. There is one to get the tapeworm and then there is one to get rid of it again.

until the tapeworm grows so huge that it completely blocks your bowel and makes you die from sepsis when your innards explode under pressure.

    Good theory, though. :)
