If there was no Clinton/Obama....?

Possibly. I don't agree with his stance on illegal immigration, and some other key issues are iffy for me. But I like his view on upholding the constitution, especially privacy issues.

If you would consider Ron Paul along with Obama, you apparently haven't looked into Ron Paul's or Obama's positions on the issues. They're about as far apart as two candidates can get, with the SOLE exception of their opposition to our being in Iraq--and even then, their reasons and solutions are radically different.

I wouldn't vote for either of the two in a million years, because they're both too extreme for my taste, just on opposite extremes. If they were the two nominees, I'd vote third party or sit it out (and I have never done either).

NO, Ron Paul is a nut job. I'd write in Mickey Mouse before I voted for Ron Paul.

As a virginian,....... its sad but true I never heard of him(Ron Paul) 'til two months ago. I would vote for Edwards. If Obama was not running, can't stand Clinton's fake crying in front of cameras. Anyway, I still don't know what Ron Paul supports or does not support. I would have to know first. Also I would probably vote for Paul before McCain. Voting for McCain would be like voting for Bush for 4 MORE years. Obama '08!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a few things I don't like that Ron Paul stands for. By the way I have always voted republican, but this year, this time - I choose CHANGE - - Go Obama!

I'd give Ron Paul a serious look for sure and I'd likely vote for him over McCain.
