What do you think of people crashing their own weddings? I'm not doing it.. Just asking for opinions..?
I watched that "Real Wedding Crashers" show and I just can't believe that someone would want to turn their wedding into a disaster like that..
What do you think?
I forget what channel it's on, but the bride and groom hire a "team" of people who specialize in turning a wedding into a disaster.. I just think it's ridiculous.

I dont care if the bride and groom are jokesters and "in" on it, all the guests are the butt of the joke. I think its terribly insensitive to all the guests, to the family and trivializes marriage.

Lol! It depends on the couple. Some of us are very silly, you know? ;)
If the couple is the "prankster" kind, and if they have a very funny personality, I can why they would do this.
Now, I am not saying this is for all people, but for a couple like that, they get some laughs, a wedding that is just like their personality, a great video of their day, their wedding imortilized on a TV show to laugh about for years to come, everyone who couldn't attend can watch it on TV, and I believe the TV show gives them a small amount of money or wedding items for being on the show.
For a couple with a really goofy personality, and who likes to play practical jokes, it's a win-win for them.
To each his own, I guess!
I personally thought the show was funny! :)
P.S. I agree with the above poster...these pranks you see are a very small part of the ceremony...these people likely have a regular formal ceremony right after, or at a later date. Makes good TV!

How do you crash your OWN wedding?
Did you get so angry with yourself that you decided not to send yourself an invitation, or maybe it got lost in the mail and you showed up anyway?
Do you hire bouncers and security to make sure that you aren't allowed into your wedding, but sneak past and pretend like you're the bride or groom?
Never heard of the show, maybe I just don't get it.

i've never seen the show, how do you crash your *own* wedding? what weren't they invited? lol.
if they are just turning it into a joke for t.v. - they are doing it for the money and will probably have a nice wedding later. don't be fooled.

It really depends on the couple getting married I guess. Both my husband and I would totally do it!
