He's in my ribs! How can I get the baby to move?
I'm almost 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby (It's a boy!) and he's just recently decided that he likes sitting under the right side of my rib cage! It's cute that he's found a comfortable place, but it's SO uncomfortable. Is there any way to make him move so I can function without being so darn uncomfortable?

This might sound funny, but when my daughter would get up into my ribs I would put my legs up on the couch and my back on the ground (kind of like you're sittin gin a chair with your bottom against the bottom of the couch) ... then I'd push my butt up so my back was straight. My sister suggested this, and this actually worked more than a few times at getting her to change positions.

Yep, mine starts poking me in uncomfortable places and I poke back... got a nice elbow or something at the bottom tip of my sternum the other day... grrr... Sometimes just moving a bit will get the little bugger to move too, but if I can find a part to rub or poke at a bit it'll almost always scoot some for me.

I had that with my first son and am now pregnant with my little girl and she has found the same spot i dont think there is much that can be done. Im 36 weeks. try to lie down and relax as much as you can. i find when im driving or even on the computer its the worst for me. good luck and congrats on the little boy. they are great.

I'm almost 30wks and everytime bub gets into a really uncomfortable position for me, I slightly rub my hand over where I can feel the bub and it usually moves everytime I feel it (I dunno what I am having-suprise, thats why I call the bub an it... weird). But try doing that, gently push an area of the bub that you can, works for me.
