    Yes; that which we want the most seems to run away from us when pursued too hard.

    It's nice, but there's nothing really to agree with. The word "may" ruins it. It may, or it may not. By the same logic, running screaming naked through downtown while throwing fruit at tourists "may" also bring happiness.

    I certainly do as the following scripture illustrates.

    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isa. 40:31

    When we wait upon God he fills us with an unbelievable energy and restores our strength so we may walk close to Him.
