Sending ringtones to my phone via USB?
I have a Motorola W370, and I have a USB cord that connects it to my computer. However, I can't send the ring tones that I created using audacity to my phone because, when I hook it up, the phone doesn't show up as a removable drive. Also, the ring tones that I made cannot be downloaded from the tracfone online store, since the songs are Japanese...
So... what should I do to get them on my phone?
6 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoDoes anyone know which forms of mind control scientology uses?
I've looked into it a bit, and I find some of their techniques to be more than a little disturbing. Does anyone have links to case studies, or other sources that would clarify the extent of the psychological harm that it can induce?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMy friend was looking at swords on ebay, and it said that the blade was made of Damascus steel...?
I know that this is impossible, since we no longer know how to make damascus steel, and it would be much more expensive if it were the real deal. Is there anything special about the blade that causes them to call it "damascus steel", or is it just there to sound cool?
3 AnswersHistory1 decade agoWhat do peeps and easter grass have to do with Jesus?
Did the Pharisees throw marshmallow ducks at him or something? What about jelly beans? Eggs? BASKETS? Did his disciples bring him gift baskets filled with candy to welcome him back from the dead? This is all a bit confusing...
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes springtime have any spiritual significance to you?
Just wondering if you're religious/spiritual beliefs incorporate it at all. Springtime is very special in the Shinto religion, which I have borrowed a large number of beliefs from. It's a time when people can grow especially close to nature, and revel in it's beauty. Many festivals take place in spring, and people enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms in Japan, and certain other areas of the world. Does anyone else's religion have anything similar to this?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo you think that people who belittle the suffering of others are pathetic?
How utterly depraved and desperate for attention must someone be to make mockery of someone's suffering? Are they really so devoid of empathy and compassion that they are willing to insult someone like Debra in order to be acknowledged? I can't help but feel sorry for them, despicable as they are...

15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes anyone know where I can find the song "Baby don't cry" by Namie Amuro?

What were your results, and what are your religious beliefs?
I'll go first:
I'm an atheistic agnostic Theravada Buddhist, and my results were INTP ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTP )
Just wondering if there's any kind of relationship between the two :)
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy on earth would a Christian make a better president than an atheist?
I read the answers to this question and many Christians seemed to believe that they were better fit for the job:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvS38...
Then I asked this question, and most of them seemed to believe that if the Bible and the Constitution contradicted one another, the Bible would be given precedence:

How can anyone honestly claim that someone who puts their religious text above the supreme law of the land should occupy an office that is dedicated to protecting and upholding said supreme law? Why on earth is an atheist less qualified than someone who lets the Constitution take second place to their religious beliefs?

14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat do you feel is the most constructive emotion/thought process?
I feel that it is awareness, because it is crucial to be aware of what we do, what we think, how we feel, and the effects of these things. We can then recognize those things that hurt us and stop doing them. We can also recognize that which makes us happy and increase such behaviours...

What do you think?
Was your choice influenced by your religious/spiritual beliefs?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhich emotion/thought process do you believe is the most self-destructive?
I believe that it is fear, because fear limits our potential and impedes our ability to behave rationally...

And did your religious/spiritual beliefs influence your answer?

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat's your favorite song?
And does it have any spiritual/philosophical significance to you?
You can pick more than one if you can't decide, I have two:
"PASSION" (opening version) by Utada Hikaru is one. I find that the way she describes the connections between individuals and time in that song is very realistic and moving at the same time...
I also like "Dareka no negai ga kanau koro" ("When someone's dream dies") by the same artist, because I agree with the idea that when one person's dream comes true, it causes someone else pain, and that it is better to strive to be something instead of striving to have something.
So what's your favorite?
