Christian Americans?

Are you a Christian first and an American second?

Or an American first and a Christian second?

Do you take your marching orders from God or the constitution?

Update:

If the bible and the constitution contradicted one another, which one would you back?

I am a Christian American. I love my county but my God is more important. If the constitution contridits the Bible i guess i will have to break the law. please to not think that i hate my country...i am very patriotic! I JUST LOVE JESUS MORE. :]

    Christian first, American second.

    God's word, the Bible.

Christianity can be practiced within the framework of any political system. Christianity should NOT be engaging in political systems...that is not and never was meant to be the purpose or work of the church.

Unfortunately, Christianity is viewed as a problem because of past abuses. In true Christianity, we are not a threat of any kind, except we tend to expose the truth for all to see.

I'm a Christian first. There is no conflict between the two if the government sticks to the constitution. Once government disobeys the constitution, then our contract with our rulers is over, and we no longer have a reason to be loyal.

not inevitably. quite some human beings say they are Christian in line with their upbringing. working example, they could have been raised in a kinfolk that went to church often. yet that would not propose they themselves are Christians. mutually as church attendance is significant, it would not make everyone a Christian. Christians are people who positioned their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior. John 3:sixteen: "Whoever believes in Him (Jesus) shouldn't perish, yet have eternal life." Romans 10:9: "in case you confess inclusive of your mouth 'Jesus is Lord,' and have confidence on your heart that God raised Him from the lifeless, you would be 'stored' (i.e. "grow to be a Christian"). there are various greater verses that should be stated. i'm hoping that this permits.

A Christian is always a Christian first. They still will obey the laws of the land as long as there is not a conflict.
